Get ahead this summer! This year, summer school will be held at Woodland High School. Classes begin on June 19, 2012 and end on July 26, 2012 (no school on July 4th). Stop by the CCHS office and pick up a summer school application today.

Extra-Credit Opportunity in English
Author, Peter Rock, will talk about his novel, My Abandonment , at the Woodland Public Library on Thursday, May 17th at 7pm. This is a great opportunity to gain insight on Mr. Rock's book and the writing process. To earn credit, please check-in with Mrs. Jones when you arrive at the event. Country for Coaches Event
101.9 The Wolf and Woodland Schools Foundation are proud to present Country for Coaches featuring National Recording Artists: Kip Moore (Something 'bout a Truck), Bucky Covington (American Idol finalist), Due West and Jon Pardi. This benefit concert will raise much needed funds to support 7th-12th grade athletic coaches in the Woodland Joint Unified School District. The event will be held at the Yolo County Fairgrounds Arena on June 1st. Presale tickets are $20 and can be purchased by clicking here or by visiting the school student store or contacting Athletic Director Stacey Mounce . Please come out and support this event and help make extracurricular sports a reality in the Woodland Joint Unified School District.
Extra-Credit for Art Students
Students attending the Cielo Rojo Art Exhibition can earn extra credit! The event will be held on May 17th from 5pm - 7pm at 1224 Lemen Ave. in Woodland. Bring a signed flyer from the event to Mr. Frazier and you'll receive extra-credit! For more information, please see Mr. Frazier.
Testing - CST and CAHSEE
California Standards Testing (CST) and the California High School Exit Examinations (CAHSEE) are coming up. Please see this calendar for testing dates and times. This year all CST participants will be entered in a drawing for some great prizes, including iPod Shuffles, Polaroid MP3 and iTunes cards.
