Credit Opportunities

Odysseyware: Students who are present-positive-productive may request permission from their teacher to check out a Chromebook for use with Odysseyware at home. Overall, students must have at least 90% attendance and are completing all daily assignments. Home use of Odysseyware is at the discretion of individual teachers. 
Weekend Homework: With perfect attendance the week prior, students may request additional work to be completed at home. Homework assignments are at the discretion of individual teachers.
Extra Curricular Activities: Sports, Back to School, Open House, Spring Carnival and volunteering with Leadership activities. Please see the counselor for further details.

Work Experience:  Begin by getting a work permit from our office coordinator, Lisa Sanchez, and a Work Experience form from the counselor.  36 hours of work equals 1 credit. Students must have good attendance to maintain a work permit.
Community Service: Work permit applications are located in the front office.  36 hours of work equals 1 credit. Student must have good attendance to maintain a work permit.
Woodland Community College: See counselor to start registration process. Must go to WCC to enroll and in some cases, must take the placement exam. 1 WCC credit is equal to 3 CCHS credits. 
Health Club/PE Credit: Students may earn PE credits or elective credits by joining a health club, with prior approval.
